Offering a hands-on equestrian summer riding camp for riders ages 7–16, and an eventing camp for riders ages 12+.
Summer Riding Camp
Hannaberry Farm offers 4 weeks of summer riding camp for young riders at all levels. View the flyer for 2025.
Campers will spend the day immersed in equestrian activities. Mornings include riding lessons focusing on balance, control and technique, followed by chores and horsemanship instruction (non-mounted horse related activities). Afternoons vary with games on horseback, bareback rides, trail classes, equine art projects and guest presenters. Most camps coincide with our in house shows offering students a chance to participate in a real horse show.
Students bring sack lunches each day. Each afternoon an ice cream or non-dairy treat is provided before pick up.
All our instruction is in English riding. The ratio of rider to instructors is usually 1:4 or less. Riders are divided into groups by age and skill level. Levels are from beginner to advanced. Advanced riders can focus on a specific discipline—either dressage or jumping. Campers are welcome to compete in Hannaberry schooling horse shows, scheduled throughout the summer.
